Janet Ann Walker Berry, 72, of Holiday, Florida, passed away on Thursday September 19th, 2013. Born June 7th, 1941 in Indiana, she was the daughter of Phyllis Walker and The late Clarence "Tony" Walker Jr. She is survived by her Mother Phyllis Walker of Tampa, FL, Daughter Stacey Strickland and husband Gary Strickland of Clearwater, FL. Son Danny Berry and wife Suzanne Berry of Deerfield Beach, FL, four granddaughters Megan Berry of Deerfield Beach, FL, Heather Miller of Lloyd, FL, Haley Cox of Clearwater, Fl and Summer Strickland of Clearwater, FL.

Janet was an outspoken lady with strong opinions and a wicked sense of humor which earned her the title Sassy JB. All that knew her would say that she was also one of the most kind and caring women. She had a strong faith with God and in her passing it has been mentioned over and over again that heaven received another angel.

Janet was an active member of her community where she worked for over 20 years at Publix and volunteered with the Salvation Army. She enjoyed getting out and experiencing life. She loved traveling on cruise ships, vacations at Disney, cooking, crocheting and knitting but most of all she enjoyed the time that she spent with her family and dog Cuddles.

Maxine (cartoon) said it best:

"Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, martini in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming WOO HOO what a ride!".. ... more
