Jim Lockwood Pyle
Jim was born on December 12, 1942 to John and Minnie Pyle in a small mining town in West Virginia. The family soon moved to Kansas and there he had a wonderful Walton like childhood. When he was 12, they moved to Tallahassee and he later graduated from Leon High school and then joined the Air Force. After his military time, which included a stint in VietNam, he returned home to Tallahassee. His work career included Tallahassee Furniture and a partnership in Landmark Furniture Gallery.

Jim loved nature and everything outdoors. He was an avid hunter who set up hunting camps following the principles of game management. He hunted throughout the southwest and in Canada and Alaska. Later in life, he enjoyed climbing in a tree stand just to watch nature. In the woods is where he found his peace.

Cherishing his love and memory are his wife and soulmate, Vivian; his daughter and son in law Traci and Jeff Johnson; his granddaughter, Lacey Burke; and his brother, John Pyle..... more ...
